Cafe Rags at Mods vs. Rockers Charlotte, NC this June!

Yep. The first rumble to make the Cafe Rags to-do list this year is none other than the first annual Mods vs. Rockers in Charlotte, North Carolina!

On Saturday June 2nd 2012, the Queen City will be invaded by hoards of vintage motorcycles and scooters paying homage to the two conflicting British youth subcultures of the 50′s and 60′s. The guys putting this one together seem to be setting the bar pretty high more than six months out, with plenty of sponsors, bands, and festivities already lined up.

It’s all gonna start around 10am and end after tons of beer, bands and beauties with a midnight ride around the Queen City.

Here’s the preliminary schedule:

10am – Rocker Meet Up
10am – Mod Meet Up
10:30 am – Mods vs Rockers Ride Through Charlotte
11am – Bike Show Registration Begins
12pm to 4pm – Bike Show/Swap Meet
4pm to 5pm – Bike Judging
5pm to 6pm – Awards Ceremony/Raffle Drawings
7pm until – Live Entertainment at The Chop Shop
12:00 – Midnight Ride
